The strategic geographical position of the island and the conquerors that have resided on it throughout the centuries, morphed Malta into one of the smallest places in the world with such a large amount of historical monuments. Its climate is mediterranean which makes it ideal for every season. Festivals and cultural events are the norm – especially during the summer. A lot of its monuments were built during the reign of the knights, the most important being the Palace of Magister. Malta’s museums are also of great significance, most of which you’ll find in Valletta.
